Cricut Cartridge, Handbook and Overlay Folder

I received my rewards cartridge today, Fabulous Finds. I wanted to get this one for awhile but I kept putting it off. Well I think I'm really going to like it a lot. I have been keeping my cartridges in one box and my handbooks and overlays in another, the orginal boxes just take up to much space. While I was waiting for my cartridge I created this folder to hold the cartridge, handbook and overlays together this way I can keep them all in one box. I love it! I'm adding the file if anyone would like it. After it's cut out I folded the folder on it's score lines, I was going to add score lines 1/2 inch from the ones the folder had but it's just as easy to measure and score on my scoring board, plus I really don't like the score lines. So score 1/2 out from the ones that are on the cutout.

The little piece of cardstock is for the cricut cartridge so it doesn't slide down to the bottom of the folder. I want to be able to get it without digging down the folder. I scored that at 1 1/2", 2", 3 1/2" and 4", I glue the last 1/2".

Just tuck that down to the bottom right of the folder and the cricut cartridge sits on it nicely. Here is what it looks like...

Hoping to get a Gypsy, but this will do for the time being. Here is the file:

  8. This method of storing even a few cartridges, the overlay, and the booklet look great. Would you please clarify something for me: Did you use the Fabulous Finds to cut the envelopes? Thanks so much for your help.

  9. Yes Eulouise I used Fabulous Find, but you could use squares from another cartridge, just use this template for placement.

  10. Brigit - Thank you so much for sharing your cut file. I've been using a drawer in my craft dresser to store my carts in the boxes - but my drawer is getting too full!! and its a pain to keep putting them back and forth - although I really love my boxes!!! This will work really well, I think. It will keep everything together and you can see at a glance if something is missing (expecially if you take it to a swap - you want to make sure you get all your pieces put back!!). Thanks again for your willingess to share - really appreciate it.
