Happy Birthday - Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hi everyone!!  Todays my last day as guest designer over at Jaded Blossom.

It was so much fun working with Michelle, Candace and the wonderful JB Design Team.

Here's my project some print n cut Birthday cards.

I like to have on hand a bunch of cards with no sentiments so I can pull one out and easily stamp a sentiment as needed.  I don't always have the time to create cards so these come in very handy.  On these I used the new stamp set So Many Birthdays, you will love all the different fonts of Happy Birthdays in this set.

All graphics are from Miss Kate Cuttables, I used the png version.  I like some of the graphic cut off so I place it hanging off the edge on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" rectangle, then select both and crop.  Now the graphic will fit perfectly on an A2 card, you just have to line it up on the bottom and side edges.

Love is Brewing - Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to be guest designing this month for Jaded Blossom.

For my project today I made this little box that holds two k-cups.

This would make such at cute wedding favor and the sentiment from this month's new set The Perfect Match goes so well. I stamped it on one of the Mini Tag Dies.

For the flower I used one of the dies from the Layered Frame & Journal Die set. I just cutout 5 petals and glued them onto a 3/4" circle. The center sentiment is from the Wedding Candies and that's stamped on one of the Candy Charms & Banners Dies.

The box is one of Lori Whitlock's and the paper is Carta Bella's Hello Again.

Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project - Easter Banner!

Hi everyone, I have a tutorial using Lori's Bunting Font over at her blog today.  You can make any kind of banner using this font, makes it so quick and easy to put one together.

I think the whole thing took me 20 minutes to do and it looks so cute.

I used some Grape Fizz Trendy Twine to hang it one and put some beads in between.

The pattern paper is Echo Park's Hippity Hoppity.

Peachy Keen Stamps Trendspotting Flower Pot

Hi Everyone!!  It's my turn over at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and I have a fun Trendspotting project to share.  Every other week a Design Team members will make a project inspired by a photo, mine this week is Pantone's 2014 Color of the Year Radiant Orchid.

Here's what I came up with...

I had so much fun making this, I just love these faces from In the Garden Assortment pack!!

I letterpressed and cut these felt flowers out with my fiskars fuse using the mini flower die.  The leaves are from the bird die, it's actually his wing but can also be used as leaves.  The stamp sentiment is from the PKSC-26 February set.  For the stems I used UTEE to harden some Limeade Trendy Twine.

Leigh's Bridal Shower...

What a wonderful day I had yesterday at my son's fiance's bridal shower.  Alfred and Leigh are getting married May 30th and I can't wait, finally officially adding a daughter to my family.  It's so great to get together with family I haven't seen in awhile, just to sit back and talk, life becomes so busy we forget how much we miss of each other's lives.  Also had a great time afterwards hanging out with Leigh's sisters!

Well onto what I was working on the last week, making the bridal shower favors.

I had so much fun making these, I was quite pleased with how they came out too!!

Just a quick and easy box to assemble and looks elegant when done.

The dress box I downloaded from the Silhouette Online Store, it's by Jennifer Wambach,

I just modified a tiny bit removing the holes.  I embossed the top piece of the box, print n cut the labels and added some ribbon and fabric flowers, that's it, very simple.

For her card I used the wedding dress card by Loni Harris...

This also can be found in the Silhouette Online Store.

I used the same embossing folder, ribbon and flower as the boxes.

I print n cut the label with sentiment, simple but elegant I think.

I had so much fun playing with this month's Peachy Keen Stamp Release.  The faceless chickens are just so adorable, love the cool shades for them that's in the mid-release sentiments.  One of my favorites is the chicken wire background stamp, you can use it for so many different things.

I made this cute little wedding mint holder using the new Ticket Die.

I put the layers on and folded the flap down and scored on both sides at 1.75"

The candy wrap dies fit these mints perfectly,

I picked them up at the Dollar Store, I like that there is no writing on them.  You can also get them at Michaels too, but they are more money.
