Hi everyone!!
I watched another of Connie Stewart videos and I just love the cute Hershey Kisses Window Box she created. If you haven't already check out her videos, she has so many great projects and tips!!
These are awesome for classroom treats for Valentine's Day or any occasion actually!! Just love quick and easy projects especially if you are going to make a bunch.
I like to see if I can use my dies for projects like this so this is what I came up with using My Creative Time's Treat Slider Box Die.
On the longer side I scored at 1 1/8", 2 3/8 and then flip around and scored again at 1 1/8. You really don't see the score lines that are on the die when finished and one of the 1 1/8" lines up with one of the dies score lines, so I used that as my front. I used one of the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies for the window cutout and lined up the same one with the next size up for the frame cutout. I glued that on and then scored down the center again so the frame folded nicely. I cute a piece of acetate about 3 1/4" x 2 1/4", scored down the center and glued on. The two hearts are from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies, the sentiment and tag dies are from the Teeny Tag Greeting Stamp Set. This holds 4 Hershey Kisses perfectly.
Oh goodness Brigit ~ this is not only ADORABLE but so CLEVER!! BEAUTIFULLY done! I have to try this!
