Hugs - My Creative Time Favorite Stamp Of The Month

Hello, for today's project I used My Creative Time's Stripey Background II, which is on sale til the end of the month.  I really love classic black and white cards with a touch of red, definitely a favorite color combo.  I also used the both the Stitched XL Label and XL Label dies.  The sentiment is from the Fun Notes stamps and dies set.

I haven't made a boyish card in awhile so I used one of my favorite stamps the robot from the Best Bots Forever set.  I also used the  Stitched Rectangular Frame dies.

My Creative Time's 54th Release Sneak Peek Day 4

Welcome back to another great day of sneaks!

We are showcasing two sets today,

BUILD A SUNRAY & MORE STITCHED CIRCLES.

So happy with both these sets, the Build A Sunray has some awesome patterned ray stamps, I used the dots here.  It also has a die which is the black cardstock under my circle.  The Stitched Circles which I used here for my sentiment coordinates nicely with the Bunch Of Fun Circles, the black layer is from that set.  I also used the cloud die from the More Stitched Edges dies to create the background and the Stitched Rectangular Frame dies to cut out the cloud background.  For the sunrays I used Ranger dye ink so you can see the clouds in the background on some of the colors especially the yellow which I love.

Welcome back to another day of Sneaks!

Today we are showcasing the stamps and die set

You Are My Sunshine

This is a fun set with lovely sentiments, since it has rain and shine elements I chose to use both by splitting the paper and doing the rain on one side and sun on the other with a rainbow background.  The curve and cloud dies from the More Stitched Edges I used as templates to create the rainbow and for the cloud background.  On both I used some distress ink, the raindrops I stamped with versamark and embossed with white powder.  Both the cloud and sun are cut out of some glitter foam board.

The flower stamp is so pretty, it's one piece and comes with a die also.  In the set there are both stamp and dies for the words Mother, Mom and Mum which are great, I used the die and than stamped one of the sentiments from the set.  I also used the Stitched Postage Frame and Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.

A Good Reason - My Creative Time Thoughtful Thursday

Hello and welcome to MCT's Thoughtful Thursday!

I made a super simple card today using the Be Awesome Stamps and Dies.

The sentiments in this set are so uplifting and I really love the dies, definitely becoming one of my go too sets when I have to make a quick card for someone.  I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames & More and More Stitched Rectangular dies.  The friends paper is from a paper pack from Michaels.

Beautiful Day - Hero Arts April My Monthly Hero Kit

I picked up Hero Arts April Kit of the Month and I'm totally in love with the stamp set, it's gorgeous.  Sadly I believe the kit is sold out but for the lucky people who bought this and haven't used it yet you're gonna love it!  I stamped the flower 4 times and used the coordinating dies to cut out each layer.  I used some pop dots in between each layer to give it some dimension.

The gift bag is from SVGCuts Tied Surprise Gift Bags kit, I cut it in white cardstock and stamped the black polka dots using a Peachy Keen Background stamp.  The tag is from My Creative Time's Holiday Tags Stamps & Die Set.

Cascade Mother's Day Card - Dreaming Tree

Dreaming Tree came out with a new bundle this week, Cascade Cards.  Three beautiful cards come in the bundle designed for a wedding but can be used for so many occasions.  I made the Lily Card for Mother's Day and I love how it came out.

I doubled up the flowers and added a solid darker one behind to give it some shadows and cut out the background ones in green for leaves.  The paper is from Michael's, not sure of the name and the sentiment is from My Creative Time's Love You Bunches set. 

Believe In Your Dreams - MCT Trending Now Blooms & Plumes

Hello welcome to My Creative Time's Trending Now.

Our theme is Blooms & Plumes.

I was excited about this cause I knew exactly what I wanted to make,

a Dreamcatcher Card.

I had so much fun making this card and I really love how it came out, definitely going to someone special.  I used two of the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and cut out two pieces from cereal box gluing them together to create the top part of the dreamcatcher, This really made it sturdy so I could wrap the twine around without it bending.  You can find the pattern I used to wrap the twine here, it worked out perfectly.  I used some Color Bursts on watercolor paper, let it dry and than cut out the feathers from the Believe In Your Dreams, (which the sentiment is also from) and the flowers and leaves from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  The sentiment was added to vellum and embossed and gluing it to the back.  I wanted a wood background so I created my own by scoring some lines randomly in the back of the cardstock than using some Distress Ink on the front, I like how the colorful feathers look on it.  I added some beards with the feathers and pearls on the center of the flowers, this card measures 5" x 7".

Hello Friend - Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit

Playing with my Simon Says April Card Kit and made this for the Monday Challenge. Had to use acetate, vellum, or anything you can think of that is a little transparent so I used some vellum and heat embossed with the stamps from the kit.  I stamped and cutout the pieces with my Brother ScanNCut2, love that machine, took no time at all to cut the flowers and leaves out perfectly. I used some Distress Inks on watercolor paper for the background, love the softness with the vellum overlay.

Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit

I love all the card kits from Simon Says Stamp but I think this April one is definitely my favorite.  Besides all the pretty paper Life In Color by Simple Stories and matching embellishments the stamp set is so fabulous.  The card below was done using just the stamp set, I love the flowers in this set and the bottom polka dots are so cute.

I made this card super quick, definitely will be playing with this set the next couple of days.
