Greatest Handyman - My Creative Time Manly Monday

Hello!  It's Manly Monday at My Creative Time today.

I made this quick and easy card using the Greatest Handyman set.

I love these stamps, makes the perfect manly card!

I actually gave this card to my husband, we are in the middle of adding an addition so it was very fitting!  Can't wait for that project to be finished so I can concentrate more on my crafting!

Bee Happy Treat Bag - My Creative Time Tag It Tuesday

Hello welcome to MCT Tag It Tuesday!

For my tag today I used the note card die from the new Just a Note set.

I just punched a hole and used some twine and a mini clothespin, perfect for a sentiment inside.  The bee and sentiment are from the Be Happy set.  I used the inside pieces of the Stitched Honeycomb Die to create the pattern on one of the Stitched Square Dies for the top layer of the note card.  I used the outline of the honeycomb die that was leftover to create the pattern on the bag with some distress ink.  The banner is one of the dies from the Sentiment Label Dies just trimmed off at the end.

Sentiment Label Dies

I love that there are larger label dies in this set, perfect for your larger sentiments!  I used one of the sentiments from the Chalkboard Birthday Stamps and this is the second largest die in this set of four.  The candles are from the Make A Wish set which also have some large sentiments that would work so well with these label dies.  To create the background I lightly used some Color Burst and stamped some of the circles from the new You Are Spot On set to create a bokeh effect, it's very subtle.  I cut the background layer with the Stitched Rectangular Fram Dies.

It's the last day of sneaks, tomorrow is the Release and Blog Hop!!

Today we are showcasing the

Just A Note set  

This set comes with a note card die, I used it to make these matchbooks.  I created the matches, they fit nicely inside and perfect for a stamped sentiment, I think these would be so nice for a wedding.

The inside sentiment is from the NEW You Are A Blessing set, really a perfect sentiment for these matches, lol!!  I lined up the opened notecard long ways with the stitching side first and scored at

5 1/2", 2 7/8" and 2 1/2"

to create the matchbook.  I glued two cutouts of the matches together, placed them inside and stapled towards the bottom so the cover tucks in and holds nicely.

Sprinkled With Happiness - My Creative Time Thoughtful Thursday

Hey there!

 It's Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time

today and I have a cute card to share.

I've been seeing so many donuts cards lately I just had to whip out my We're Better Together set.  This sentiment is just perfect to brighten someone's day.  I used some glossy accents over the donut frosting and on the hearts, love the shine it gives.  I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.

Father's Day Skimmer Hat Treat Box - Dreaming Tree

Hey there, I have a cute 3D project to share!  I used the hat from Dreaming Tree's Daffodilly Spring Bundle and dressed it up like a barber quartet skimmer hat for Father's Day.  This would also be adorable for the Fourth of July.

I had this burlap paper in my stash, I believe it came from a paper pad from Michaels.  The stars, banner and sentiment are all from My Creative Things.

I also resized the hat files smaller so this project isn't as large as the hat in the file.

Here's the box opened with some red, white and blue candy treats!

Two Simon Says Stamp Watercolor Projects

I have two Simon Says Stamp project to share, both of these were super quick and easy.  The first I used the SSS set Circle Friends, such a cute set!

I water colored the background with Salty Ocean Distress Ink, super quick and punched out the holes with SSS Luminary Circles Craft Die.  I colored the bees with Zigs Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

This tag is totally a left over and scrap paper project, love those kinds.  I created a bunch of flower and leaves from the June Card Kit Stamp Set so these were left over from the card I created.  The water colored background was a strip I had from another project, perfect size for a tag so I cut a dark blue background layer and stamped this sentiment from SSS Happy For You set.  I had used my Zigs Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the flowers and leaves.

Made Just For You - My Creative Time What A Treat Wednesday

Hey everyone welcome to My Creative Time's What a Treat Wednesday.

I have a quick and easy treat for you made from some DCWV burlap paper.

I used the Stitched Treat Sleeve Die along with the Stitched Belly Band Dies and the Belly Band Sentiments to create this project, super simple!
