Today we are showcasing Christmas cards...

I love to do my own stamped backgrounds and I just love the greenery on the two wreath stamps in the All Is Calm set, so I cut apart the half one.  I can always piece it together if I want to use it with the die, I just made sure my cuts were clean.  I actually had to use a magnifying glass with this one.  Now I feel I have a bunch of new stamps, lol!!  I trimmed the scarve a little to fit the deer, it's for the dog but I think it looks cute on him also!  I also used the Scalloped Stitched Oval and Rectangular Frame dies.

Today we are all making tags...

I made this quick and easy tag using kraft cardstock with a border of glitter paper under a piece of patterned paper.  Love the look of white embossing powder on kraft, it's so pretty.

Presents & Peppermint - Dreaming Tree

Hello!  Have you see Dreaming Tree's new bundle Merry and Bright Gift Boxes, totally love.  I can't wait to make that peppermint box, but first I had to make this peppermint shaped card.

Probably one of my favorite things to make at Christmas time, anything peppermint.  I duplicated the larger of the red panels rotate it and than lined it up and welded together in SSDE.  For the ends I used the top piece and snow from the Tree Treat Box.  I created a card base which is the gray piece sticking out on the ends, the white pattern piece goes over that and than the red pattern piece.  Patterned Paper is from Doodlebug Design.

I love this stitched frame die, I think I'll be using this one quite often!  I think this denim paper looks so cool with these flowers from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies using some colorful Doodlebug Design Petite Paper.  I cut the thanks out of cereal box twice and then white cardstock for some nice dimension.

Here Comes Santa Claus Shaker Card - Doodlebug Design

I'm taking advantage of my day off and spending it in my craft room, love these days!

I have another card to share using some paper and a cut file from Doodlebug Designs Here Comes Santa Claus collection.

I bought the Here Comes Santa Claus svg set from Lori Whitlock, I love how they are all pieced together already so it makes doing a print n cut so simple which is what I did with the Santa.  I cut them out with my Brother ScanNCut 2, I didn't want any white around them so I cut to the edge.  For the shaker I used vellum instead of clear acetate, I wanted a soft snowy look in the back.  I thought this border strip was perfect as the sentiment, it's from the 6 x 6 pad.  I love the simplicity of the card so I didn't want to add anything else to it.

Hi Pumpkin Bendi Card - Dreaming Tree

Hello, I love making these cards from the Dreaming Tree's Christmas Bendi Cards SVG Bundle , probably one of my favorite kind of cards.  This one is the the Believe Bendi which I modified with a Autumn theme using some Doodlebug Design Paper and elements from the Flea Market Collection.

I cutoff the snowman and smoothed out the hill, I knew I wanted the fox there.  I took some of Doodlebug svg trees and welded them over the pine trees on the back layer.  I cutoff the believe emblem at the top and smoothed that out also, really wanted the focus to be more on the scene.  All editing was done in an older version of SSDE and saved as an svg and cutout on my Brother ScanNCut2, though I don't use my Silhouette a lot I still like to edit in their software.

Tea Is On Me - My Creative Time What A Treat Wednesday

Hello, welcome to My Creative Time's What A Treat Wednesday!

I used the You Deserve A Break set to create this tea bag holder.

This is one of my favorite sets, love this mug.  I used this adorable Doodlebug Design paper from the Flea Market collection, what beautiful colors!  For the flowers and leaves I also used the Flower Petal and the Stitched Leaves Dies.

I cut out two mugs, slit the back and glued the edges together.  You could add a sentiment or message on the back also.

Cookies For You - Doodlebug Designs Christmas Card

Hello, Today I'm sharing a card I'll use for a Christmas cookie exchange and I used some svg files from Doodlebug Designs.  The milk jar and plate of cookies from the Here Comes Santa Claus collection along with the adorable Santa are totally adorable and perfect for this card!  

All the svgs were cut out on my Brother Scan N Cut 2.  The two stamped images are from Jaded Blossom's Milk and Cookies set and the cookies tag is from MCT's Fun Stitched Tags.  All designer paper is from Doodlebug Design's Here Comes Santa Claus and Petite Prints pads.  I used some Liquid Applique on Santa's pom pom and hat trim, gives it some puffy texture and some clear wink of stella on his beard.  The twine is Berry from Annie's Paper Boutique.

Doodlebug Design Christmas Tags

Well Christmas will be here before you know it so I'm spending some time getting my tags done.  I like to make most of my tags print n cut since they are quick and easy but adorable.  I'm so happy that Doodlebug Designs now have their cute designs in svg.  It's awesome Lori Whitlock is selling them in her store, I love how these are already put together so I don't have to do it, makes print n cut so much easier.  Here's a couple I've done so far using the Here Comes Santa Claus Collection.  The designs are also in the Silhouette Online Store.

I just print n cut the face of the tags and then cut out the tops and background layered with Doodlebug's Here Comes Santa Claus Petite Prints.  These tags are from Lori Whitlock's shop also.

Here's a close up of one of the tags, I like to put a black outline around the images using .75 in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition.  These are super easy to make!

Rain Or Shine - My Creative Time Trending Now

Hello! I have a Trending Now project to share with the theme Make It Rain.

I thought a cute shaped rain boot card would make a nice trendy project to showcase this theme.

The card was made in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition using one of the Online Store Designs.
